We arrived in the late afternoon and were initially overwhelmed by the crowds on the beach, but even in the evening, we could see the pink color of the sand. The next morning, we got up early and were the first on the beach, which allowed us to enjoy the beauty of the beach in peace and take some amazing photos with our drone.

Overall, Elafonisi Beach is an absolute highlight of any trip to Crete, and it is well worth the effort to get there. If you are planning a visit, it is worth staying in a hotel in Elafonisi so that you can fully enjoy the beauty of this amazing beach. Just be aware that the beach can get quite crowded during the summer months, so it is best to visit outside of peak tourist season if possible.
