Kirkjufell

Kirkjufell is a stunning mountain located in Iceland that is known for its distinctive shape and beautiful surroundings. It has been a popular destination for photographers and nature lovers for years and has been featured in many stunning photos.

If you're visiting Iceland, Kirkjufell is easy to reach from Reykjavik and is worth a visit. However, due to the unpredictable weather in Iceland, you may need to be patient in order to get the photo you have in mind. When we visited, the mountain was barely visible when we arrived, but after almost 2 hours of waiting, the clouds cleared and Kirkjufell shone in the sunlight.

Despite the challenges of getting the perfect shot, Kirkjufell is a truly beautiful place that is well worth a visit. The parking lot is located right next to the road and is easy to access with a normal car (although a 4X4 may be necessary in the winter). In the summer months, it's best to visit as early or as late as possible to avoid crowds, but we had less of a problem with crowds when we visited at the end of August.
